How to Configure or Edit Remote Clients in DirectAccess - Step by step with screenshots 

 

1. Open Remote Access Management Console.

2. Under Configuration>DirectAccess and VPN, highlight the DirectAccess server and click Edit of Remote Clients.


3. In DirectAccess Client Setup, you have two options: Deploy full DirectAccess for client aces and remote management, and Deploy DirectAccess for remote management only.   

4. In Select Group,   add the group or clients that will be enabled for DirectAccess, Note: by default, Enable DirectAcecss for mobile computer only is checked. You may want to disable it if you want domain computer using DrectAccess.

 

5. in Network Connectivity Assistant, enter the helpdesk email address. You also have options to Allow DirectAccess clients to use local name resolution and modify the Resource that validate connectivity to internal network.

 

 

6. Click Finish to complete the settings.

 

 

7. Click Apply to save the settings.
