How to install CMAK

Installing CMAK on Windows 2000 Professional

1. Obtain a CD-ROM for Windows 2000 Server or Advanced Server.
2. Browse the CD-ROM and locate the file Adminpak.msi, in the I386 folder.
3. Double-click the Adminpak.msi file to install the Server Administration Tools and CMAK. Once the installation is complete, you can create profiles on Windows 2000 Professional.

To install Connection Manager components, including the CMAK wizard, on a computer running a member of the Windows Server 2003 family:

  1. Open the Windows Components wizard.
  2. In Components, click Management and Monitoring Tools (but do not select or clear the check box), and then click Details.
  3. Select the Connection Manager Administration Kit check box.
  4. Click OK, click Next, and then click Finish.
