How to access and manage PIX Firewall

How to access PIX using console port

To access PIX using console port, you need to connect your PC to the console port of the PIX using a rolled cable. You also should have the following settings in the Hyper Terminal:

Bits per sec    :  9600 
Data bits       :     8 
Parity          :  none 
Stop bits       :     1 
Flow control    :  none 
 
After turn on the PIX, you may see the System Messages like this:
