After adding a HP Blade server too existing HP Enclosure, you should be able to configure and access the Blade in HP Onboard Administrator. These step by step show you how to do so.

2. In the left pan, navigate Enclosure Information>Device Bays, and then select the device you just added, MININT-V37K0V2 in our example.

3. In the right pan, you will see the device Status.

4. If you click on Information tab, you will get many useful information such as Product Name, Part #, Serial #, NIC MAC addresses.

5. If you click on iLO, you will see iLO Name, IP address for remote access it, MAC address and firmware version.

6. To remote control the new server, click on one of Remote Management options.

7. Click Port Mapping in the left pan, OA will displays port mapping information.

8. If you click on Bay 1, it will display more details.

9. To configure static IP for the new Blade, click Enclosure Information>Enclosure Settings>Enclosure Bay IP Addressing. The right pan will display current address for the new server. Note 1: in most cases, the DHCP will assign dynamic  IP address to the new server.

Note 2: in our example, we just added two Blades. The Bay 8 is full Blade and Bay 9 is half Blade.

10. To change the IP to static IP, check the enable box and type the IP address.

11. After click Apply, both EBIPA and Current Address should be the same static IP address.
