How to move AD from sbs2000 to Windows 2003

 

1. Run "adprep /forestprep" and "adprep /domainprep" command on SBS 2000 to
prepare it for Windows Server 2003 DC.

2. Promote the 2003 Server to DC.

3. Transfer the FSMO roles to the new 2003 Server.

4. Wait after a successfully replication, and then demote the SBS 2000
server.
