How to Configure Basic iSCSI SAN

In the basic iSCSI SAN deployment, only two production servers (iSCSI hosts or iniators) access their storage, an iSCSI target storage array. In our case, one server runs Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint Services, and the second runs Microsoft Windows Server 2003 to provide file and print capabilities as showing below.

All clients on the public LAN access to each server through a NIC. A second Gigabit adapter in each server accesses to a private iSCSI SAN connecting to the iSCSI target storage array through an Ethernet switch.
