How to clean files using Disk Cleanup - step by step with screenshots

 

1. Type disk cleanup in Search bar.

1.  2. In the Drives list, click the hard disk drive that you want to clean up, for example C: and then click OK.

2.  3. In the Disk Cleanup dialog box, on the Disk Cleanup tab, select the check boxes for the file types that you want to delete, and then click OK.

3.  4. If you want to clean up Windows update, Windows Defender Antivirus Windows upgraded log files, click Clean up system files.

 

5. you will have options to clean up Windows update file,
logs and Defender antivirus.

6. Click OK to start the cleanup. It may take a few minutes.
