Configure Receive Connector in Exchange 2010 - Step by step with screenshots

When installing Exchange 2010, it will create a default receive connector which listens on port 25 and receives emails from all IP addresses. This allows the inbound mail flow. However, you need to configure the Receive Connector manually for receiving emails.

To modify the settings on default receive connector

1. Open EMC and navigate to Server Configuration>Hub Transport

2. Right click on Default Exchange CASName receive connector and select Properties.

3. Make you have correct FQDN in the General tab.

4. In the Network tab, make sure you have both IPv4 and IPv6.

6. Make sure you have Transport Layer Security (TLS), Basic Authentication, Exchange Server authentication and Integrated Windows authentication checked,.

7. In Permissions Groups tab, check Anonymous users permissions group
