Transfer Outlook Express messages
from one computer to another one Situation: When the client creates an email account on his laptop using Outlook Express, it downloads all his messages from the server to the laptop and empties the Inbox of his desktop Outlook Express. When attempting to export messages from the laptop Outlook Express, he receives this error: "The export could not be performed. An error occurred while initializing MAPI". Resolution: there is another option to transfer messages from one Outlook Express to another one. You can copy the folders between two Outlook Express. For example, the Inbox folder is saved as inbox.dbx under Documents and Settings>Username>Local Settings>Application Data>Identities>{7934....}>Microsoft>Outlook Express. After copy the inbox.dbx from the laptop to the
desktop, all messages will display under Local Folders>Inbox. Post your questions, comments, feedbacks and suggestions Related Topics Previous Page Next Page |
