What's Windows 2008 Hyper-V Windows Hyper-V
can run multiple virtual machines on a single server, which reduce the
number of physical servers required on the network. Microsoft Hyper-V is a
hardware-based virtualization platform that uses partitions to host virtual
machines. It uses partitions to isolate the operating systems and
applications from the hardware resources. The Hyper-V is flexible enough to
allow multiple operating systems on the server. One of the benefits of Hyper-V is
isolation, which ensures that the child virtual machines execute in their
individual partitions and exist on the host as separate machines. Hyper-V
supports symmetric processing, which enables support for up to four
processors.
Hyper-V requires specific hardware, such as memory and processor, to be
installed on the virtualization server. The server should also meet some
minimum system requirements, such as the version of the operating system to
be used. After installing Hyper-V on a server, you can configure its various
settings according to your requirements. Post your questions, comments, feedbacks and suggestions Related Topics
