Installing Active Directory in the remote office server

After the DNS is functioning properly, it is ready to install Active Directory.

1. Log on to HUBDC1 as the local administrator.

2. Click Start and then click Run.

3. In the Run dialog box, type dcpromo and then click OK.

4. In the Active Directory Installation Wizard, click Next at the Welcome screen.

5.  Select An additional domain controller in an existing domain. Then follow the instruction.

6. When you have verified that all of your entries are correct, click Next to proceed with the installation.

7. When the wizard has completed the installation, click Finish to close the wizard and restart the domain controller.
